- FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
1. ARE THESE TOWNHOMES FOR RENT OR FOR SALE?
The townhomes we offer at Colborne Place and Collins Place are both strictly rentals and are not individually for sale. Due to the layout of these townhomes, one block is serviced by one external utility room, so it is not possible to individually sell each unit.
2. ARE YOUR RENTAL RATES ALL INCLUSIVE?
Yes! At JASLO Properties, we’ve made it very simple for residents so our monthly rental rates are all-inclusive with no extra condo or maintenance fees. The only component that is additional to your monthly rent is your communications (phone/internet/cable).
3. IS THERE A WAITLIST FOR YOUR SENIOR LIVING AND IF SO, HOW LONG?
Yes, we do have a waitlist for both the townhomes and the apartment building. Currently, it’s hard to say how long the wait time could be as there are various factors that determine how quick or slow the waitlist moves. Examples of some of these factors include; when a move-out notice is received and how many calls are made when going through the waitlist to fill a vacancy.
4. HOW DO I GET ON YOUR SENIOR LIVING WAITLIST?
In order to add your name to our senior living waitlist, you must call our office to do so and all we need is your name, contact info and location/unit preferences (no applications required).
5. WHAT HAPPENS IF I ADD MY NAME TO THE WAITLIST AND RECEIVE A CALL BUT TURN THE VACANCY DOWN BECAUSE I’M NOT READY?
We’ve recently implemented a new guideline for our waitlist. If you are called for a vacancy but pass on the unit because you are not waiting or ready, your name unfortunately will go to the bottom of the list. This will ensure a structured and efficient waitlist.
6. WHAT ARE THE TOWNHOME LAYOUTS & ARE THERE BASEMENTS?
Every townhome is single storey and slab-on-grade, which means there is only 1 floor and no basement. They all offer open concept kitchen/living areas, 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, in unit laundry rooms, single car garages and front & back covered patios.
7. ARE YOUR COMMUNITIES PET FRIENDLY?
Of course! Both Colborne Place and Collins Place are pet friendly and allow one small dog or cat.
8. IS THERE AN ELEVATOR IN THE APARTMENT BUILDING AT COLLINS PLACE?
Yes, there is one elevator that operates from the underground parking garage all the way up to the rooftop patio. The apartment building offers 38 suites and sits 3 storeys tall.
